The Tribal Hop Mudra (Abhaya) symbolizes protection, peace, and the dispelling of fear. Abhaya in Sanskrit means fearlessness. It was used before the onset of Buddhism as a symbol of good intentions proposing friendship when approaching strangers. “We offer you blessing’s but we are fearless” is the Tribal Hop mantra.
